I agree on all except that the order is exactly the opposite:

1. Feedback push: Be considerate of people who are expecting your answer and provide it.

2. Feedback pull: Demand to know what happened with your proposal to those who have it in their desks.

Number 2. will happen independently on wether you demand or not an answer. That´s how it works.

I have changed… I am now stupider than ever. But that has nothing to do with other cultures. It’s my natural development.

Seriously though… I think I try not to take business things personal. That’s one thing I think I’ve improved a little bit.

A new site to waste more time! You can know how much you store and how much you retain when you find yourself in a no-Internet situation (as time goes by, those situations will become extinct) and you want to talk about the non-apology apology article in wikipedia, but you do not remember a thing about it. That is my opinion (or an opinion I stole from some blog I have read and cannot remember that)

Agreed on the balance but worried about how to pass it on to the next generation. A generation that does not know how the brain functioned before the days of Google and Wikipedia.
I do not use Wikipedia for commands, mind you, I go straight to Php.net that has samples AND snippets.
And I have never denied my bastard nature.

I think everyone should find its own balance. Memory needs training, you don’t use it, you lose it.
Use Google+Wikipedia for cultural, abstract stuff, not to remember commands, you may use them to learn, but not for reference. The alarm to you should be that if you had to look soon after about the command, you may not have understood it completely. Force yourself to remember, double-check it then. It will come out naturally the next time.
For God’s sake why Google+Wikipedia for commands?! IDEs have contextual help! Oh, I see, you were looking for code snippets you bastard!

I am getting older. That much is true.
The question is… how much of Roman Emperors, Grimm Brothers, etc. you store in your brain and how much you leave in this external hard drive wikipedia has become.
I do like Cracked, but articles are a bit too long for my newfound laziness, so I’m more of an Oatmeal kind of guy
